Legends of worlds

Hello, Gill here
I love the grungy feel of the Legends of the Magic School and Between Worlds collections and decided as they have a similar colour palette they would work well in one very large Photograph Album.

I used a mixture of the papers from Between Worlds and Legends of the magic school, the collections Between Worlds and Legends of the Magic School combined with the Between Worlds cut packand finally the Between Worlds Die cuts to create an album that has lots of flips, flaps and pockets which can hold over 70 pages on its 8 pages.

The papers were layered onto a Kraft Coloured album for background details and then photomats added with Kraft card.
Each photomat was framed with some stamping around the edges and hand drawn irregular lines before fussy cut imagery, snipits of lace and a word from the papers was added creating a decorative embellishment cluster.

For the cover of the album the album base was covered with more of the papers. The front of the album was then layered with lace, more papers, lots of ephemera, a title and then some floral elements trapping in a piece of shabby ribbon so that the album can be tied closed. The back of the cover has the other half of the closure ribbon secured safely under more paper elements. The spine of the album was then tied with a collection of co-ordinating shabby ribbons and lace.
