W ostatnich dniach zanurzyłam się w świątecznym nastroju tak głęboko, jak tylko się dało. Z kubkiem gorącej herbaty, przy miękkim świetle lampek i cichym szumie zimowego wieczoru zaczęły powstawać czekoladowniki z kolekcji Wonderful Christmas Time.. Chciałam, żeby były czymś więcej niż tylko opakowaniem na słodki drobiazg. Miały nieść ze sobą atmosferę ciepła, domowego spokoju i tego wyjątkowego grudniowego uroku, który pamięta się z dzieciństwa. Sięgnęłam po kolory, które kojarzą mi się z najpiękniejszymi świątecznymi wspomnieniami: głębokie brązy, zielenie jak z leśnej polany i delikatnie przykurzoną czerwień, która dodaje całości odrobiny klasycznego, bożonarodzeniowego charakteru. Do tego odrobina postarzeń, jakby te prace przechowały w sobie kilka zimowych historii. Warstwowe kompozycje, kwiaty, gałązki obsypane bielą, małe świąteczne motywy – każdy element dobierałam tak, żeby całość wyglądała jak mały, własnoręcznie złożony fragment świątecznej opowieści. Mam ogromną nadzieję, że kiedy trafią do swoich nowych właścicieli, przyniosą im trochę ciepła, uśmiechu i tej wyjątkowej magii, którą tak trudno opisać, a którą wszyscy przecież doskonale znamy. Święta zaczynają się w drobnych gestach, a ja chciałam, żeby te czekoladowniki były jednym z nich.
In recent days, I have immersed myself in the Christmas spirit as deeply as possible. With a cup of hot tea, soft lighting, and the quiet hum of a winter evening, I began to create chocolate boxes from the Wonderful Christmas Time collection. I wanted them to be more than just packaging for a sweet treat. They were to convey an atmosphere of warmth, domestic peace, and that special December charm that we remember from our childhood. I reached for colors that I associate with my most beautiful Christmas memories: deep browns, greens like those of a forest glade, and a delicate dusty red that adds a touch of classic Christmas character to the whole. I also added a touch of aging, as if these works had stored a few winter stories within themselves. Layered compositions, flowers, twigs covered in white, small Christmas motifs – I chose each element so that the whole thing would look like a small, hand-made fragment of a Christmas story. I sincerely hope that when they reach their new owners, they will bring them a little warmth, a smile, and that special magic that is so difficult to describe, but which we all know so well. Christmas begins with small gestures, and I wanted these chocolate boxes to be one of them.
