Pudełko zaprojektowałam w ten sposób, aby było atrakcyjne dla miłośnika szachów. Na pierwszy plan wysuwa się papier ryżowy z kolekcji Adventure Men z motywem szachownicy i figur, który od razu nadaje pracy jej charakter. Stonowana kolorystyka granatu i beżu podkreśla klasyczny styl i kojarzy się ze spokojem oraz koncentracją towarzyszącą grze.
Wieczko uzupełniłam przestrzennym elementem w formie figury króla, który stanowi wyraźny, ale nienachalny akcent. Całość wykończyłam fakturową powierzchnią i delikatnymi przetarciami, podkreślając ręczne wykonanie. Pudełko może służyć jako szkatułka na drobiazgi, zapiski lub szachowe pamiątki i sprawdzi się jako praktyczny oraz dekoracyjny przedmiot.

I designed the box to appeal to chess enthusiasts. The rice paper from the Adventure Men collection with a chessboard and chess pieces motif takes center stage, immediately giving the piece its character. The subdued colors of navy blue and beige emphasize the classic style and evoke the calm and concentration that accompany the game.
I complemented the lid with a three-dimensional element in the form of a king figure, which is a distinct but unobtrusive accent. I finished the whole thing with a textured surface and delicate abrasions, emphasizing the handcrafted nature of the piece. The box can be used as a casket for small items, notes, or chess memorabilia, and will serve as a practical and decorative object.
